WHO WE ARE
We are «Bioextraction Technology» LLC (or BEST for easy spelling) the only Ukrainian company in the business of processing krill meal into oil.
We created our company because we firmly believe that inclusion of krill oil in everyday diet makes positive contribution on the human body, that can`t be reached by other sources of omega-3 fatty acids.
We employed the best experts nationwide and built our own processing facility to present to you this amazing product.

Raw materials sourcing
We control quality of the Antarctic Krill oil from the moment Antarctic Krill is caught till the moment of its packaging into softgel capsules.
Production of the Krill oil softgels begins from purchase of raw materials. We can proudly declare that our supplier is Ukrainian company IKF LLC. Factory-vessel that produces raw material (Krill meal) is HACCP certified and has fully implemented ISO22000.
Along with developing its commercial fishery of Antarctic Krill, IKF also takes care about its being ecological and sustainable.
SUSTAINABLE AND FRIENDLY TO ENVIRONMENT PRODUCTION
Krill oil is made from Antarctic Krill (Euphausia Superba). Antarctic Krill is a small crustacean that lives in the cleanest waters of Antarctica, which makes it ecologically fresh and safe product. Its fishery doesn`t pollute the environment and strictly regulated by CCAMLR (Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources).
Factory-vessel that produces the raw material (Krill meal) is HACCP and ISO22000 certified. This particular fishing practice doesn`t hurt the environment being that Antarctic Krill constitutes almost half of all biomass of the planet.
IRREPLACEABLE SOURCE OF OMEGA-3 FATTY ACID
Positive influence of omega-3 fatty acids on human body has a wide range of effects.
Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), phospholipids, choline, astaxanthin, play an important role in regulation of inflammation process in human body, protection of joints, blood vessels and arteries, heart, brain and eyes.
Antarctic krill oil consumption has been clinically researched regarding its positive effects during third trimester of the pregnancy, breastfeeding, cancer treatments and high physical exertion, in cases of artery plaque buildup, easy of symptoms of PMS, treatment of male pattern baldness, antiasthma procedures and obesity prevention.
Recommendations on clinical care of COVID-19 patients «Live clinical guidelines» for 2021 released by Ministry of Health of Ukraine note positive effects of omega-3 fatty acids on improving immune system of COVID patients and recommend it for consumption in case of post-COVID syndrome.
WHAT IS ANTARCTIC KRILL
In the vast reaches of the sea microscopic algae create so-called «oceanic pastures» and are consumed by animals, which play key roles in Antarctic ecosystems. Antarctic Krill (Euphausia superba is small crustacean 50mm in length) boasts very large population.
This species of deep sea crustacean live in big swarms, sometimes reaching density of 10 000 – 30 000 krill per cubic meter.
Biomass of only one species of Antarctic Krill Euphausia superba in Antarctic Ocean, according to scientific estimates, reaches approximately 379 000 000 tons. It is greater than biomass of all the people living on the planet.
Antarctic Krill is a primary food source of whales, penguins, some species of seals and fish.
Antarctic Krill feeds exclusively on plankton (microalgae). Because of this astaxanthin content in Antarctic Krill is incomparably higher than in any other natural source.
Protein of Antarctic Krill (Antarctic shrimp) is inexhaustible source of bioactive albumen, carbohydrates, amino acids, minerals and vitamins. Antarctic Krill is rich in water– and fatty–soluble vitamins: A, D, B1, B2, B12, folic and pantothenic acids, biotin. It contains the most important nutrients, which makeup vitamins, hormones etc. Antarctic krill meat is especially rich in iodine, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium.

Production facility of“Bioextraction Technology”LLC implemented food safety management system (HAССP), which has certificate of Compliance with standards ISO 22000.
