WHY ANTARCTIC KRILL OIL
ANTARCTIC KRILL OIL IS THE BEST SOURCE OF OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS
BEST SOURCE OF OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS
Omega-3 fatty acids are irreplaceable components of human diet, which play an important role in development and maintenance of functions of different organs’ systems. Antarctic krill oil contains eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA) acids. These two polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) are not synthesized inside human body. Large number of scientific studies has proven all of the significant advantages of these fatty acids, starting from improvement of cognitive function and all the way to combating obesity.
EPA and DHA can be found in the fish oil just like in the Antarctic Krill oil, but there is one significant difference: Omega-3 fatty acids in Antarctic Krill oil are in phospholipid form, which means they contain phosphatidylcholine. Addition of phosphate group to the chain of fatty acids simplifies the process of digestion inside small intestine, provides faster assimilation of substances by tissues of liver, lungs and brain.

BEST SOURCE OF NATURAL ANTIOXIDANT
Astaxanthin is an organic antioxidant, that belongs to a large group of substances called as carotenoids. In the nature astaxanthin can only be synthesized by micro algae. Fish, crustacean and animals cannot produce astaxanthin on their own, that is why it must be present in their diet. In the beginning astaxanthin was used exclusively as a coloring additive. However, later researches showed that astaxanthin is not just a coloring additive, but factually it has vitamin-like properties.
Astaxanthin has a healing effect at large, but particularly it helps in such areas as:
- Prevention of cell oxidation;
- Anti-inflammatory action;
- Stimulation of immune system.
Astaxanthin protects chains of fatty acids from destruction and plays an important role lowering of inflammations of cardio-vascular system. It is the most effective antioxidant of our time. Astaxanthin, while neutralizing free radicals, helps to safeguard human body from development of cancer cells, coronary artery disease, improves eyesight and prevents premature aging of skin by protecting it from UV radiation.
Phospholipids and astaxanthin in Antarctic Krill oil are responsible for raising the effectiveness and speed of absorption of nutrients.
Bad news
2. According to the study, published in the May, 2016 Edition of Progress in Lipid Research Journal, most of the Earth`s population shows low levels of Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) in their blood. Chronic diseases linked to the deficit of Omega-3 in blood plasma (Look pct.1).

Good news
2. Omega-3 fatty acids in fish oil are present as triglycerides. In Antarctic Krill oil they are present in the double chain structure of phospholipids. Fats in the walls of human cells also are in the form of phospholipids.
Simply speaking, Omega-3 from Krill oil is being absorbed much better than the one from fish oil. That`s why daily dose of Antarctic Krill oil can be as much as two times lower than fish oil.
UNIQUE COMPOSITION
- Phospholipids help Omega-3 to be integrated into the cell membranes.
- Choline, that is contained in the Antarctic Krill oil, contributes to the correct metabolism of fats, and due to its role in the transmission of signals via nerve endings, choline might be especially useful for functioning of muscles during sports as well as for those, who are watching their figures or combating excess weight.
- Astaxanthin is a red-colored organic antioxidant, it has anti-inflammatory effect and enhances endurance. Scientific studies conducted in 2002 under direction of Dr. Yamashita have proven significant improvement of skin quality influenced by Astaxanthin: decrease in wrinkles and pigment spots, increase of smoothness and healthy complexion.
- EPA (eicosapentaenoic) and DHA (docosahexaenoic) surround every brain cell, support their defenses, enhance blood flow, facilitate dissolving of atherosclerotic plaques and help recover faster after illnesses or intense training sessions.
